The South Carolina Hospital Association is a private, not-for-profit organization made up of some 100 member hospitals and health systems and about 900 personal member associated with our institutional members. The South Carolina Hospital Association was create to serve as the collective voice of the state’s hospital community and their goal is to create value that will improve the care for the people of South Carolina. Transworld is a proud supporter of the South Carolina Hospital Association and highly respects their mission to keep South Carolina’s hospitals healthy and therefore keeping our state healthy.
Over the years, Transworld has developed close relations with a majority of the hospitals in South Carolina. We work closely with the hospital engineers, facility managers, and all persons involved in everyday operation and maintenance. We assist in providing the resources and training opportunities that help protect patients, staff, and visitors. We are proud of the positive impact they make on the community and we are honored to show our support; we truly value our customers. Transworld wanted to acknowledge these loyal customers and express our gratitude as they have allowed us to develop into the industry leader we are today.
Transworld was presented with the opportunity to donate the grand prize at the 2015 South Carolina Society for Hospital Engineer Show. We understand the hard work the hospital engineers endure and we were honored to have this opportunity to say thank you. Our vision for the grand prize was to provide an opportunity for relaxation from their busy job and to allow them to experience our amazing city, Charleston. The grand prize was a certificate for a complimentary two night stay in a premier club room and a private carriage tour for two. The guest was provided will all the club level amenities and the private lounge that is available to registered club guests. The grand prize winner was Ronald Heath from Palmetto Baptist.
