Transworld Electric finds a lighting solution for a South Carolina assisted living facility’s outside paths.
THE PROBLEM:
A South Carolina assisted living facility was concerned about their poor outside path lighting and the safety hazard it posed to the residents. The new lights needed to provide adequate lighting while also being energy efficient.
THE SOLUTION
After review, Transworld Electric proposed to upgrade the low voltage lighting and install 90 LED bollard lights along all pathways. The new lights are a 100watt equivalent light that only uses 20watts of power each and rated for a lifespan that exceeds 50,000 hrs. These new lights provide additional safety because of their high light output. Transworld Electric’s electricians removed all of the old dim lights and wiring, and installed the new bollard lights with automatic lighting controls.
