Electrical Contractor’s exclusive NFPA 70E 2015: Electrical Safe Work Practices and Safety-Related Maintenance Course and received their Certification of Completion. This course is an important part of meeting the NFPA’s requirements for training qualified personnel on safe work practices and how to implement them. We covered Chapters 1 and 2 of the NFPA 70E 2015 Standard for Electrical Safety, as well as relevant portions of NFPA 70B and NETA Standards.
The instructor, Joseph R. DeMonte, is the Director of Technical Training and Support for ABM Franchising Group. He spent 6 years as a Line Level Nuclear Mechanic with the United States Navy and has over 22 years of industry experience specializing in predictive maintenance techniques especially infrared thermography. He is a former senior infrared thermography instructor for the ITC designing coursed for and instructing Navy Special Ops and Coast Guard Forces. He has obtained the ASNT Thermal Infrared Level III Certification.
