Transworld is excited to be celebrating 30 years of service this 2017. Since Transworld’s inception in 1987, we have been fortunate to work alongside many wonderful customers that we truly respect. Many of these customers have grown to be considered friends of Transworld, and we want to take the time to share them with you.
Our first friend is Richard Marks Restorations, Inc., an astounding company that we have truly enjoyed working with since opening our doors.
Richard Marks Restorations, Inc. is Transworld, Inc. Electrical Contractor’s first company that we are featuring as our Friend of Transworld. Richard Marks Restorations, Inc. is a full-service general contractor that provides coordination, consulting, design/build services and crafts to a wide range of businesses, organizations, and homeowners in the fields of architectural conservation, preservation and restoration.
Richard Marks Restorations, Inc. are members of the following professional organizations: Licensed General Contractor, Association for Preservation Technology, and American Institute for Conservation and supports many community service outreaches such as the Sullivan’s Island Cultural Center Board & Park Foundation Board, Clemson University’s Alumni Advisory Board for Historic Buildings, Trustee for the Charleston Day School, and Trustee for Historic Charleston Foundation. Additionally, Richard Marks serves on the alumni advisory board for historic structures at Clemson University, and teaches in Charleston for the historic Preservation Graduate Program.
Charleston is known for its rich history and we truly enjoy working alongside Richard Marks Restorations, Inc. as they continue to preserve many of Charleston’s historic sites, buildings and objects. Many of these historic renovations are posted on their website and you’ve probably seen many of them as you walk the streets of historic downtown Charleston.
