Lighting Project:

Transworld recently was contacted by a South Carolina assisted living facility to help find a solution for their poorly lit employee parking lot. This was a safety concern for them because an employee had recently rolled their ankle walking to their car at night. They needed a new lighting solution that would provide adequate lighting while also being energy efficient. Transworld Electric was unable to use pole lighting because it would cause bright lights to shine into the surrounding neighbor’s windows at night.

The Solution:

After review, Transworld Electric started by installing one sample fixture. It was a RAB Slim12N and our licensed electricians mounted the light fixture about 5ft high on the fence. These light fixtures are LED and only draw 12watts each. These LED fixtures shine all their light down and out which helps to eliminate the possibility of light entering any windows at night and disturbing neighbors. The assisted living facility immediately loved them. Our licensed electricians completed the project and added 35 LED lights to complete the entire parking. After we completed this parking lot lighting project, we were asked to complete 2 more parking lots. The two new parking lots had a similar fence line and our electricians were able to install the same RAB Slim12N LED lights.
