Transworld recently had a customer that was looking for a backup power solution for their whole home (over 5,000 sqft). We successfully delivered them a solution, with the automatic stand-by 38 Kilowatt Quiet Source Generac Generator. This generator is powerful enough to provide back up power to their entire home and can be fueled by their natural gas line. In order to provide the safest and reliable installation, we evaluated the weight-bearing ability and characteristics of the surface of where the unit was installed to ensure we found the most appropriate foundation. Since the home was located on an island, we designed a raised foundation for the generator that would provide the necessary support and protection against flooding.
