Recently our very own Jeff Beukema and Steve Gillespie presented at the WEASC, Water Environment Association of South Carolina, district meeting in Lexington, South Carolina. The WEASC’s purpose is to preserve and enhance South Carolina’s water environment by serving those whose vocation is the promotion, protection and preservation of the water environment.  They presented on Electrical Preventive and Predictive Protocol. They shared how Transworld’s TEGG Contractors provide preventive maintenance that includes infrared thermography, root cause analysis, predictive ultrasonic and asset documentation that will assist in increasing the safety and decreasing the risks related to water and waste management companies and their electrical systems. They shared the benefits of preventive maintenance and how it can significantly reduce expensive emergency repairs, increase power quality and decrease utility costs. According to the NFPA, National Fire Protection Association, a well-administered electrical preventive maintenance program will reduce accidents, save lives, and minimize costly breakdowns and unplanned shutdowns of equipment. Brian Myers, the Senior Vice President of TEGG, emphasizes that “educating clients, employees and others in our community on the importance of safety is the core of our business.”Great job Jeff Beukema and Steve Gillespie on sharing the importance of preventative maintenance with the WEASC!
